Collection: Magenta transformations - prints

A new collection! Magenta transformations series is where LJagz dives deep into abstract for the first time and explores movement and dynamic elements of colour. 

Paintings are multi layered structures with colourful dabs of paint, thick brushstrokes and movement of her gestural action painting through the surface is mixed with sharper edges of palette knife and scratched surface marks uncovering colours underneath.

The backgrounds are painted with an iridescent medium which shimmers and changes colour depending on the source of light, just like a water would change colour. The colours used are vibrant , maily burgundy, fuchsia, pink, deep magenta, yellow, blue and white.

A new collection was created for the New Artist Art Fair , Truman Brewery in August-September 2023.
